How it works

Two mechanisms. Pick a side.

One diagram, two jobs. Switch between drawing a blemish out and delivering actives in, and watch what changes on the skin.

It draws the blemish out.

Hydrocolloid is the same class of material used in wound-care dressings. It absorbs fluid and holds a moist, protected surface while skin recovers.

Seal. Pressed over a surfaced pimple or whitehead, the patch forms a seal over the spot. Covered skin is skin you are not picking at.
Absorb. The hydrocolloid draws in the fluid and oil the blemish releases.
Protect. Sealed and moist, the spot stays in the kind of environment skin recovers in, instead of drying into a scab.
Proof. As it fills, the patch turns opaque white. That white circle is a visible sign of what it drew out.

Original Dot carries salicylic acid, niacinamide and tea tree oil inside the hydrocolloid. Air Dot is 100% hydrocolloid, made ultra-thin to disappear for daytime wear.

The patch draws fluid up and out. As it absorbs, the clear patch turns white, a visible sign it is working.

It delivers actives in.

The outer layer of skin, the stratum corneum, is built to keep things out. The MicroForce Active Delivery System answers with cone-tipped needles that pass through that layer and dissolve where they are needed.

Press. The patch presses a grid of cone-tipped microneedles gently against the skin, over an early bump forming below.
Dissolve. The microneedles are made to dissolve. On contact with skin they begin to break down.
Deliver. As they dissolve they release their actives beneath the surface, past where a surface cream stops.
Treat early. That is how a bump can be addressed before it surfaces, at the stage a hydrocolloid patch has nothing to sit on yet.

MicroForce for Early Acne carries salicylic acid, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and peptides on cone-tipped microneedles about 1mm long. MicroForce for Dark Spots carries arbutin, glutathione, tranexamic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide and sodium hyaluronate, tuned for the marks left after a breakout.

The needles pass the outer layer, then dissolve, placing actives beneath the surface where a cream stops.
